January 16: Day 12

Though a month later than it's usually hosted, our homeschool group still had its Winter Ball. The decorations consisted of a lot of hanging snowflakes, some Christmas trees, and cotton "snow." Despite the lack of realism, it was still very pretty and I had a good time.

January 15: Day 11

I forgot to take a picture...

January 14: Day 10

I forgot to take a picture until I was already in bed. Here's my Top 25 playlist on ITunes that I was listening to as I fell asleep. I think the circumstances combined with the song currently playing in the picture rather describes how I felt upon realizing I had forgotten to get out my camera earlier.

January 13: Day 9

I made cookies today. They actually came out well, for which I was pleased. I hope they taste as good as they look. I haven't tried them yet--I was too interested in getting a picture.

January 12: Day 8

My sister and her very evil cat. He was not pleased to be visiting today. I'm honestly still amazed that she didn't get torn to shreds, but he apparently knows better than to mess with her.

January 11: Day 7

A fail attempt at photography using the disks from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which I was listening to at the time. The guy who reads the books is fantastic.

January 10: Day 6

My poster wall. I think it looked kind of cool. I need to get more pictures printed at some point--especially some of the ones I have from Moot of friends and me. I always smile when I look at those.

January 9: Day 5

My awesome Gucci bag that I got for *drum roll* $2.60. :D It's awesome and holds a surprising amount for its size.

January 8: Day 4

This is my favorite picture from our snow day yesterday. For once the ivy actually made itself useful by adding a bit of a deeper green under the white in front of the benches. Even though it was freezing cold and the ice was a nightmare, it was really pretty out.

January 7: Day 3

We got snow for the first time in a while. I took this in the morning on our way out for the day. It's the snow covered pond in front of a house in my neighborhood. By the end of the day, I wasn't so fond of the snow, though. This is the view from the hill we nearly slid down. It looks much different now with the cars all over the road...

January 6: Day 2

My rat and my puppy were making their introductions. Lucy loved watching the little critters and Twitchtip and her sister Yuki found the dogs interesting. It was adorable to see them chasing each other around through the cage bars.

January 5: Day 1

My awesome shoes. My first pair of brand-name Converse, and the coolest thing I've bought so far this year. They're rather comfortable too and still on the kitchen floor from where I kicked them off yesterday. :6:

Project 365

I am intending to attempt this project this year. I'm not sure how well I'll do, and I'm already getting a late start, but I want to see how I do. My first post with today's picture will be forth coming.

I plan to update weekly, but that time may be more or less depending on what's going on.

But in any case--here begins the (maybe) year long record of images from my life.
